Autumn Pathways: Guided Forest Bathing Session
Engage all your senses in the splendor and color of Autumn in Coastal Maine. Featuring a slow walk and Guided Forest Bathing Session along Barred Owl & Ridge Trails at Highland Farm Preserve. We will walk slowly around one mile total, engage in guided mindful movements and meditations, and end with a tea gathering in the forest. Perfect for beginners and seasoned forest bathers alike. Please note there will be some slow trail walking up a hill.
Forest Bathing, also known as Shinrin Yoku and Nature Therapy sessions offer a slow guided walk through natural forest settings, several 10-15 minute guided sensory invitations done individually, and then a final tea gathering at the end. Every part of the session is done in a quiet forest setting. The many health benefits include slowing your pulse, lowering blood pressure, improving natural immune system, lowering stress, and increasing creativity...to name a few.
